The Role:

That’s why we’re seeking an ambitious individual with a positive attitude to be our next sales development representative (SDR). Someone who can find and qualify potential customers that can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, can build relationships with clients, and are driven to set our Account Executives up for success.
You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way through email, phone, video, and in person. Someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and help other teammates when needed.

Veyor Digital is a scheduling and coordinating software that primarily helps large Building projects manage who and what is coming in and out of their sites. In just over 3 years, we have become a trusted brand for nearly all major builders and shopping centres across Australia. As we continue to add more and more capabilities to our software, it’s imperative that we build a strong team of skilled and passionate individuals that will help us continue to grow the business.

Core Activities:
Whilst day to day activities may vary to meet the role’s expectations, we envisage the following key activities being required to achieve success in the position;
Daily and Monthly Activities:
Utilise SalesForce, cold calling, social media and email to generate new sales opportunities
Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Present and contribute ideas and input during team meeting
Consistently meet KPI’s and business initiatives set by senior leadership
Attend on-site meetings and events
Work closely with Marketing to support and follow up on marketing activities and events
Provide support and administrative assistance where required
Responsible for:
The role will consist of, but not limited to the following key responsibilities:
Align with our company’s values and culture to help create a healthy workplace and great customer experience
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation and reporting
Qualify in or out and convert MQL’s into SQL’s
CRM management of businesses, contacts, notes, leads generated.
Prepare weekly KPI and pipeline generation figures for review with Marketing Manager & sales team
Maintain accurate records of activities, customer contacts and lead status daily
Primarily work in the office with the option to work from home a couple days a week
Required Skills and Qualifications
A basic understanding of construction and/or facility management
Strong communication skills via phone, video and email
Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with SalesForce or other CRM software
Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes
